1979 Porsche 911 SC Targa
U.S. 49 state legal car, non-California, 1 of 1965 produced, original engine number 6290324 clearly pictured, transmission number is 915/61 7191274 clearly pictured we do not have a book to confirm if this is the original transmission. A currently licensed and registered car, upgraded cam tensioners and external oil lines. Recent ceramic clutch, runs and drives well, mechanically sound. The A/C compressor has been removed and we do not have it. The paint is several years old and is drivers quality with no cracks on the dash and a couple of minor tears in the drivers seat. Glass is good and windshield is new. This car was in use when we located it, not a barn/garage find, it is not a show car but is not a project car either. NO signs of rust, please view undercarriage/chassis pictures the original gray undercoating is nice and clean no signs of rust. Miles showing are 128,395 and are believed to be actual, lights, horn and wipers are working it should pass any reasonable safety inspection. Correct VIN# in front floor, correct A-piller VIN tag and original door jamb VIN decal all pictured here. These cars are rapidly increasing in value and are fun to drive.
