1-owner from 1969-2001, 2nd owner from 2001-June 2015. First owner ordered and took delivery of the car to race from Mexico City to Acapulco this was part of the purchase program. The car was then trucked back to the factory. The race cars left the factory in yellow and part of the purchase program was after the race the car could be serviced and left yellow or disassembled and painted customers choice of color. Silver was chosen and it is believed that this is the factory silver paint from 1969. The first owner drove the car sparingly it was sold in 2001 with approximately 12,000 KM. The second owner spotted the car at a car show in Mexico City and pursued purchasing it for several months before a deal was struck. The second owner from 2001-2015 also drove the car sparingly the car now has approximately 17,000km which is approximately 10,500 miles. The electrical system has been converted to alternator and 12 volt battery. Mechanical fuel pump has been converted to electric. 1300 cc Hemi Head Dual Weber Gordini Engine, two have recently sold at major auctions in the $120k-$140k range. According to the Mexican documents this is a Dinalpin Berlinette, we have posted several pictures of the engine number and casting numbers on the block. According to the second owner it is a 1300 Hemi Head Gordini engine, we are not Renault experts if you know what these codes are please send us the information. This car may have left the factory with a 1100cc engine.
