'76-'86 CJ Power Brake Conversion Kit

On my 81 CJ-5, the previous owners could never get the brakes right. I installed this, tossed in some new rubber lines, bled the system. It now stops quickly, easily, and safely with no more brake light in the dash. I'm very thankful I did this upgrade! Everything was included including the grommet for the firewall to keep the weather out of the tub. The install took a bit of thinking, but I was able to do it in 2 hours, working alone, triple checking my work. I know its not original, but having good brakes is so much more important.I recommend this to everyone.

This kit is awesome. Relatively east to install. Very complete I would recommend to anyone .My 81 CJ7 is so much nicer to drive.

Good quality, everything fits, but instructions would be nice. Had to download instructions from other manufacturers websites and piece together how everything went together.

Good quality parts, would have liked some basic instructions to reference for assembly.

I bought this for a customer s jeep and liked it so much I bought one for my own CJ.

This kit worked great. You have to alter the steel lines to the MC but that's about the only mod necessary. Easy install except that whoever packaged it didn't include the vacuum hose or brass fitting. Good thing I had supplies in the shop. One of the bolts from the booster to the firewall bracket was stripped and the MC lid was damaged thanks to UPS.
